Inti spent two years in a pound in Spain before he was adopted by Esme in March 2018. He is a true podenco (Spanish hunting dog) who had been abandoned in a terrible condition on the side of a road. Inti adores scentwork and canicross! He has completed two half marathons.
Esme founded Talk Animal in 2019 after completing the PACT and ABTC dog training course and is currently finishing her Masters degree in Animal Behaviour at Lincoln University.
Inca is a one year old Malinois adopted from the Dogs Trust in January 2019. She too had been abandoned and was a frustrated, angry young lady when she first arrived home.
Maple was Esme’s first foster dog. She arrived from Spain in a truly deplorable state, emaciated and terrified of everything Maple was a very traumatised young dog. She spent three months being rehabilitated by Esme before going to a wonderful home in the countryside where her progress continues to this day. She wore a blue jumper for a long time due to being so thin and bony ☹
